The Appellation:
Obidos DOC, Lisboa, Portugal

The Grape:
50% Chardonnay, 40% Arinto, and 10% Vital

Grapes in perfect ripeness condition were hand picked into 15 Kg boxes. After 24 hours in chilling chamber at 6 ºC, they were totally destemmed and slightly pressed to obtain a fruity must with good acidity. The Chardonnay must (50%) was fermented in french oak and the remaining (50%) in steel vats at controlled temperature (16 1 8  C), during 21 days. The wine is bottled after ageing 8 months in french oak and 4 months in steel vats

The Wine:
Deep yellow citrine in colour, elegant and complex aroma of ripe yellow fruits and well-integrated wood notes.
In the mouth it is well balanced with a silky smooth texture, harmoniously combining ripe fruit with wood .
The finish is very elegant, with good acidity and freshness

Total Acidity: 5.9 g/L tartaric acid
pH: 3.38
Sugar: 1 g/L

Pairing Ideas:
Goes very well with fatty fish and soft cheese .
To be served at 12 13º C. Can be consumed immediately and/or within 5 years
