Tasting Note:
An intense red grenade with a clear violet glint. Red fruit aroma such as red guava, blackberry, and floral notes. Dewberry, hibiscus with notes of forest and truffle flavor. 13.5%ABV
Vinification:
L.A. Cetto Petite Sirah is fermented for 15 days and then aged 6 months in oak barrels and 6 months in bottle.
Pairing:
Red meats, pasta, cheeses, and Mexican dishes with elaborated sauces. Best served at 16°C.
The Winery:
Founded by Luis Angelo Cetto, history says that Cetto started the wine business in 1928, bought a number of small wineries in the 1980s, and now he is responsible for more than half of the country’s wine. Cetto cultivates 2,700 acres of vineyards in Baja California; also tequila and olive oil.
L. A. Cetto is one of the most renowned and oldest wineries in Mexico. In addition to the vineyards, L. A. Cetto offers gardens, a picnic area, wine tasting room, tours as well as a tasting boutique in Ensenada. Today, with over 90 years of tradition and quality, L.A.
