Tasting Note:
L.A. Cetto’s Chardonnay is yellow straw with golden sparkles. Opens with citrus and tropical fruits flavors such as pineapple and guava, and shows notes of milk. Crisp and bold with bright fruit and vanilla flavors. 14% ABV
Vinification:
Fermented at controlled temperature in stainless steel. No oak ageing.
Pairing:
Red meats, pasta, cheeses, and Mexican dishes with elaborated sauces. Best served at 16°C.
The Winery:
Founded by Luis Angelo Cetto, history says that Cetto started the wine business in 1928, bought a number of small wineries in the 1980s, and now he is responsible for more than half of the country’s wine. Cetto cultivates 2,700 acres of vineyards in Baja California; also tequila and olive oil.
L. A. Cetto is one of the most renowned and oldest wineries in Mexico. In addition to the vineyards, L. A. Cetto offers gardens, a picnic area, wine tasting room, tours as well as a tasting boutique in Ensenada. Today, with over 90 years of tradition and quality, L.A. Cetto is recognized internationally; with over 500 awards obtained in more than 25 countries such as France, Italy, Spain, England, Canada, and the United States.
