The Ingredients:
Sorghum! 100% Gluten Free! Hurray! This gluten-free beer is made with Chinook and Lemondrop Hops for a lovely 10 IBUs, and clocking in at 5% ABV.
The Beer:
This one-of-a-kind beer is brewed without wheat or barley. It’s the first gluten-free beer given approval by the US government for
production. This beer pours a pale gold color and has a refreshing Pilsner flavor.
The Brewery:
Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was started in 1987 by the brothers Jim and Russ Klisch. They were the first US brewery to make a beer from entirely state-grown, indigenous ingredients (Wisconsinite), they brew the oldest certified organic beer (Organic E.S.B.), and the first government-certified gluten-free beer (New Grist).
