About This Product :
The Sake:
The name “Michinoku Onikoroshi” comes from the phrase “dry enough to kill demons”. Extremely dry sake with +10 dryness level. Delicious at any temperature – the brisk taste is highlighted when chilled and, when warmed up, it becomes more mellow. Great with a wide range of dishes.
Translation of the Name: みちのくMichinoku is an old name for the Tokoku (Northeast) region of Japan. It literally means, “End of the Road,” but it implies deep countryside. 鬼殺し Onikoroshi literally means “Demon Slayer.” It is a style of sake that is a hyperbole of something. ie: So dry it would kill demons, or So smooth it would kill demons, or So beautiful, or So rough, etc.
