The Grape: 30% Arinto, 40% Loureiro, 30% Trajadura
The Wine: A light citrus color, with the aromas of citrus fruits, green apples, and pears. It has a fresh, crisp taste, with good acidity and balance. Drink young, within one year and a half after the harvest. 11% ABV
Pairing Ideas: Excellent with Bacalhau à Minhota, Rojões (fried pork), Rabanadas, Aletria, and Papas de Sarrabulho.

The Winery: Vercoope is a union of seven wine cooperatives from the Vinho Verde region: Amarante, Braga, Guimarães, Famalicão, Felgueiras, Paredes and Vale de Cambra. It was created in 1964 with the aim of bottling, marketing and distributing the wine produced by the winegrowers of these cooperatives. The union has allowed the production of 4,000 winegrowers to be combined and launched on the national and international market, achieving greater quality, scale and competitiveness. The quality of the wines is recognised and proven by consumers, sales and the hundreds of awards won in wine competitions and specialist press. Vercoope produces 8 million bottles of Vinho Verde annually, 30% of which is for export.
