About This Product :
The Appellation: Vinho Verde, Portugal
The Grape: Padeiro + Vinhao
The Wine: A very fruity wine with fine, persistent bubbles. Refreshing and full of red fruit and wild yeast flavours. Its natural sediment makes the wine cloudy while increasing the complexity of the flavours.
The Winemaking: With this pet-nat, we’re returning to an ancient way of producing our wines. It reflects a minimal intervention approach, letting nature dictate the fermentation with wild yeasts. Spontaneous fermentation ends in the bottle with no sulphites added, creating a fine, persistent bubble and a natural sediment. The wine is not filtered.
Pairing Ideas: Ideal as an aperitif, with fatty fish, spicy food, and festive occasions. Suitable for vegans.
The Format: Bottle, 750ml
The Winery: Quinta da Raza has 50 hectares of vineyards in the Portuguese Vinho Verde region, in the city of Veade. Through four centuries, the Teixeira Coehlo family still manages the estate and its 5th generation, Diogo Teixeira Coelho, makes the wine today.
